Strong bidder, but invite-only. Request it inside AdMob. Advancedby invite

Before Moloco shows any ad, you need:

An invitation: request it inside AdMob first

If you stop half-way nothing breaks: Moloco simply does not bid, and Google keeps filling your ads as before.

You will copy these into AdMob:

Steps

In AdMob open the bidding partnership setup and request the Moloco partnership (AdMob supports setting it up in your account); then sign in to the Moloco Publisher Portal with the invite you get.
In the portal go to Overview > Apps, click Add App, choose Android and the Privacy Settings, fill in your Play Store link and click Create.
Open the app in the Apps tab and copy the App Key.
Go to Overview > Ad Units, pick your app, click New Ad Unit, choose In-app bidding as the auction method, click Create and copy the Ad Unit ID.
In AdMob go to Mediation, click Create mediation group (or open one), choose the format and Android, and add your ad units.
In the Bidding card click Add ad source, pick Moloco Ads SDK, and accept the agreement prompt.
Click Add mapping, enter the App Key and Ad Unit ID, click Done, then Save.
Add Moloco Ads to the European and US state regulations ad partner lists in AdMob.

Watch out for

There is no self-serve signup page; without the partnership/invite you cannot reach the portal.

Ad units must use auction method In-app bidding.

Adding Moloco to the AdMob ad partner lists needs the Account Management permission.

app-ads.txt

Moloco's SDK FAQ says app-ads.txt is not required because the SDK works only with direct demand; Google's Moloco guide does not mention app-ads.txt. No fixed line.
