How to use it

  1. Upload your logo, favicon or a screenshot of your website header.
  2. Click a colour to copy its hex code.
  3. Use the darkest strong colour for the app bar and splash screen in the builder, and a light one for text on top.

Where the colours go in your app

In the builder: the splash background and text colour (step 3), and the side menu, app bar and status bar colours (App Settings, Side Menu and Display). Using the same colour as your website header makes the app feel like part of the site the moment it opens.

Questions

What format are the colours?

Hex codes such as #1A73E8, the format the builder and most design tools use.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The colours are read in your browser.

My logo is on a transparent background. Does that work?

Yes. Transparent pixels are ignored, so you get the colours of the logo itself.
