Before you press Publish, see your store page the way a visitor will: the icon next to the title, the short description under it, and how your screenshots line up in the row.

How to use it

  1. Enter the app title (up to 30 characters) and the short description (up to 80).
  2. Add your icon and screenshots.
  3. Check that the title is not cut off and that the first two screenshots explain the app on their own.
  4. Fix anything that looks off, then fill in the same text in Play Console.

What visitors actually read

On a phone, most visitors see only the icon, the title, the rating and the first two or three screenshots before they decide. Put the most important message in the first screenshot, not the last.

Questions

Is this exactly how Google Play renders my page?

It is a close preview of the phone layout. Google changes its design from time to time, so treat it as a check on your content, not a pixel-perfect copy.

How long can my app title be?

30 characters. Longer titles are refused by Play Console.

Does anything get sent to Google?

No. Nothing leaves your browser.
