Most websites have a wide logo, not a square icon. Upload yours and get the 512 x 512 icon Google Play asks for, plus the launcher sizes, with a preview of how phones will crop it.
No image yet.
A text logo that looks fine in a website header is unreadable at launcher size. Use just the symbol or the first letter of your brand, large and centred. If you have neither, the builder's icon step can make a clean letter icon for you.
The Play listing uses the 512 x 512 image you upload in Play Console. The phone's home screen uses the icon inside the app, which the builder creates from the image you give it, as an adaptive icon. Give both the same artwork so the two match.
No. The store icon must be a 512 x 512 PNG, up to 1 MB.
No. Upload a square. Google Play and each phone apply their own shape.
The icon was drawn too small for the adaptive icon's safe area, or it was not adaptive at all. Apps built here always get a proper adaptive icon; give the builder a square image with the logo filling most of it.
Turn your website, HTML or ZIP into an Android app first: build it free, with the APK and the Play Store AAB.
