8. DT Exchange (Digital Turbine / Fyber)

Before DT Exchange shows any ad, you need:

A DT Exchange account (a DT manager may need to approve it)

If you stop half-way nothing breaks: DT Exchange simply does not bid, and Google keeps filling your ads as before.

You will copy these into AdMob:

Steps

Tick each step when done. Your ticks are saved on this device.

Sign up at console.fyber.com/sign-up and log in to the DT Exchange Console (a DT account manager may need to approve a new account).
Click Add App, choose Android, enter your Play Store link, choose placements, and click Create App.
Enter a name and type for each placement and click Save Placement.
Copy the App ID from App Management and each Placement ID from the app's Placements tab.
In AdMob go to Mediation, click Create mediation group (or open one), choose the format and Android, and add your ad units.
In the Bidding card (or Waterfall card if bidding is not enabled for your account) click Add ad source, pick DT Exchange, and accept the agreement prompt.
Click Add mapping, enter the Application ID and Placement ID, click Done, then Save (waterfall optimization also asks Publisher ID, Consumer Key, Consumer Secret from User Profile).
Add DT's lines to your app-ads.txt.

Watch out for

Bidding for DT Exchange is listed by Google as alpha/closed beta; if the Bidding card does not offer it, use the waterfall card.

Interstitials must be loaded with an Activity context or they fail.

The Application ID must be the DT app for the same Android package.
