3. Meta Audience Network
Facebook and Instagram advertisers. Needs a payout account and app review. Advanced1–3 days
Before Meta shows any ad, you need:
- A Facebook account with two-step login on
- A Meta business portfolio
- A payout account and a tax form
- Your app live on Google Play
- Meta reviews your app (up to 3 days)
If you stop half-way nothing breaks: Meta simply does not bid, and Google keeps filling your ads as before.
You will copy these into AdMob:

Steps
Tick each step when done. Your ticks are saved on this device.
Watch out for
Meta does not bid until the app/property is reviewed (can take up to ~72 hours) and a payout account is added; with no payout details you receive no Meta ads.
Only placements created with Google AdMob as the mediation platform work in AdMob bidding; there is no waterfall fallback, so no app open ads from Meta.
Enable test mode in Meta's UI (or register test devices) when testing; live Meta ads often do not fill on emulators or for the developer's own account.
app-ads.txt
Copy your line from Monetization Manager (the app-ads.txt section of your property/account settings). Fixed format: 'facebook.com, <your Meta publisher/business ID>, DIRECT, c3e20eee3f780d68'. The ID in the second field is per account.
Who pays you
the network pays you directly (set up payout in their dashboard): Meta's own setup requires a payout account in Monetization Manager > Payouts, added by a Finance admin of your business portfolio.
