Step by step
Publish and share publicly
In Google Sites, press Publish. In the sharing settings, the published site must be visible to anyone, or everyone who opens the app will be asked to sign in to a Google account.
Copy the published address
Use the
sites.google.com/view/…address (or your custom domain), not the editor address with/edit.Build the app
Paste it into the APK builder, set a name and icon, and download the APK. For Google Play, build in the AppMint app.
What works inside the app
- Embedded Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Maps.

What to check first
Sites limited to an organisation
A site shared only inside a school or company Workspace asks each user to sign in with that account. That is right for internal sites; share publicly for everyone else.
Embedded content that needs a login
An embedded Doc or Drive folder that is not shared publicly shows a sign-in prompt inside the app. Share embedded files the same way you share the site.
Publishing your Google Sites app on Google Play
Google Play takes an AAB (Android App Bundle), not an APK. The builder gives you the AAB free with every build, signed with a key that stays the same for the same package name, so keep that package name for every update and raise the version number each time. Before you submit, go through the Play Store checklist: a privacy policy, screenshots, the data-safety form and, for a new personal developer account, the closed test with testers.
If Play reports that the signing key does not match, read fixing the upload key error.
